PURE FIJIAN BEAUTY was founded in 2014 by Zakia Sherani, whose passion for skincare and devotion to creating an “island home away from home” experience inspired the birth of the brand. After receiving a scholarship in Queensland, Zakia entered the beauty industry determined to learn everything she could. Her dedication paid off—she graduated with Student of the Year and Scholarship Honors, setting the foundation for her future success.

After gaining experience in several beauty salons, Zakia took the leap into entrepreneurship, and PURE FIJIAN BEAUTY was born.

Proudly Fijian (and a proud Queenslander too!), Zakia designed the salon to reflect the warmth, tranquility, and spirit of the islands. Our goal is simple: to provide a professional, friendly environment where you can truly “Escape to Island Time.”
